TUCSON, AZ - The Orlando Pirates will look to put a two-game winning streak together when they travel to the Tucson Arena to face the Sugar Skulls on Saturday at 9:00 p.m. The Pirates (5-3) are fresh off a third-place finish at the first-ever Indoor Football League Cup following a 41-11 victory over New Mexico last week. Tucson (2-6) is currently in fifth place in the IFL’s Western Conference, suffering a four-game losing streak.

Orlando (5-3) recorded its first win away from the Kia Center since the season opener on March 22nd, while New Mexico (1-7) was handed its fifth consecutive defeat.
ORLANDO, FL - The Orlando Pirates have signed defensive lineman Deonte Anderson. The former Mississippi State Bulldog spent four seasons in Starkville. He appeared in 41 games from 2021 through 2025 making ten starts. He finished his career making 74 tackles including 6.5 for a loss. He added two sacks, broke up five passes and had one quarterback hurry.
ORLANDO, FL - The Orlando Pirates have signed defensive back Jahron Manning. Manning comes to the Pirates after having gone to rookie minicamp with the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League. Manning signed with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent after the 2026 NFL Draft.
ORLANDO, FL - The Orlando Pirates have signed former Los Angeles Chargers defensive Lineman Brevin Allen. Allen, who played in two National Football League games in 2023, also has experience in the UFL with the Memphis Showboats and in the Canadian Football League with the Toronto Argonauts.
ORLANDO, FL - The Orlando Pirates have signed kicker Alejandro Mata. Mata, who went undrafted in the 2026 NFL Draft, played three seasons at the University of Colorado and scored 204 career points for the Buffalos. He finished his time in Boulder with the school’s second best extra point percentage at 98.2.

The Pirates (4-3) are seeking their first victory away from home since defeating the New Mexico Chupacabras to open the 2026 IFL campaign. Orlando has lost its last three road games this season. The Chupacabras enter Sunday’s contest at 1-6, amidst a four-game losing streak, sitting in sixth place in the IFL Western Conference.
ORLANDO, FL - The Orlando Pirates have signed former Florida State wide receiver Ja’ Khi Douglas. Douglas signed as an undrafted free agent with the New York Giants of the National Football League in 2025. After going to minicamp with the Giants he signed a contract with the DC Defenders of the UFL.

Orlando’s (4-3) three touchdowns in the first quarter weren’t enough, as both sides of the ball struggled the remainder of the game, while Vegas (6-1) erupted for 45 points in the second half to reach the championship game of the IFL’s first-ever in-season tournament.

ORLANDO, FL - Defensive back Leon O’Neal Jr. returns to the Pirates for the fourth time in his career for the second time this season. He comes back to Orlando after having played in two games with the Columbus Aviators in the UFL this year. O’Neal Jr. started this IFL season on the Pirates roster.
